VTG Antique Nativity Set Crèche Scene 9 Clay/Chalk Figures with Cardboard Stable

Vintage Nativity Set

 Cardboard Stable and 9 figures.

The figures include: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, 3 Kings, shepherd, and 2 sheep.

The people figures appear to be made of clay or plaster.

The little lambs are either chalk or plaster (I can’t really tell the difference).

They are all hand painted and nicely detailed.

The tallest standing figures are about 4 3/8 inches tall.

All the figures are in good vintage condition.

I gave them a close look, I see a tiny paint chip on the shepherd elbow

and a tiny paint chip on Mary’s left hand.

The 2 little lambs each have a paint chip ear and one has a chipped base.

Please see all photos for all details.

The nativity stable is made of cardboard.

It has a little platform on the front which can be folded for storage.

There is a colored picture of the kings and camels on the back wall of the stable.

There is also a cardboard star that attaches to the roof.

The measurements are 9 inches tall to the tip – not including the star.

The widest area is the roof and is 12 inches long (or wide),

and approximately 4 3/4 inches deep (back of roof stable to front).

An unusual vintage set for your Christmas collection.
