This is a vintage-era, German-made Sonor SGL-1 Soprano Glockenspiel. This is an older generation model of Sonor's legendary educational percussion line, highly regarded for its superior build quality compared to modern classroom alternatives.

Unlike entry-level instruments, the SGL-1 features thick, specially alloyed polished aluminum sound bars on a solid wood resonator box. This combination produces a bright, crystalline fundamental tone with a warm resonance and controlled decay.

Condition: This instrument is in Good Condition. It is a pre-owned, older model and shows minor, normal signs of cosmetic wear on the wood chassis and aluminum bars from careful use over the years. However, it is fully functional, structurally sound, and all bars are in excellent physical shape.
