Beautiful vintage set of three graduated oval wooden nesting boxes crafted in the traditional Shaker style.

Each box features bentwood construction with distinctive overlapping swallowtail-style fingers secured by small metal tacks, fitted oval lids, and unfinished lighter wood interiors. The exterior has a rich medium-to-dark brown finish that highlights the natural wood grain and gives the set a warm primitive appearance.

All three boxes nest together for convenient storage or can be stacked and displayed individually.

The craftsmanship is very nice throughout and these have wonderful visual appeal for Shaker, primitive, farmhouse, country, or traditional décor.

The boxes are unmarked as to maker, so no specific Shaker community or manufacturer attribution is being made.

Condition

Good overall vintage condition with light signs of previous use and age. There are scattered small scratches, edge wear, finish variations, and minor surface marks. One box has a small handwritten/chalk-type notation near the overlapping joint area. Construction remains attractive and intact overall.
