Vintage handmade studio pottery vase featuring a rounded form with a slightly flared rim and an expressive abstract glaze design.


The body is decorated in layered shades of slate blue, gray, olive green, brown, cream, and mustard with sweeping brush-like forms and areas of exposed lighter clay. The glaze has wonderful variation and depth, giving the piece a distinctly mid-century to late-20th-century studio pottery feel.


The underside has a partially visible maker’s mark or signature, although it is difficult to decipher due to age, wear, and the placement of protective felt pads. We have not attributed the vase to a specific artist or pottery studio.


Approximately 5.5 inches tall with an opening approximately 2.75 inches across.


Condition

Good vintage condition with expected handmade variations and light age-related wear. Felt pads have been added to the underside. No obvious cracks or major chips are visible in the photos. Please review all photos closely for condition, glaze characteristics, and base markings.
