Bona Traffic HD Clear 2K Polyurethane Wood Floor Lacquer is Bona's premium two-component, waterborne polyurethane finish for timber floors exposed to extreme wear, heavy foot traffic and demanding daily use.
Colour and appearance: This is a clear, transparent topcoat. Silk Matt, Matt, Extra Matt and Anti-Slip describe the sheen or performance, not the colour. The timber, stain and primer beneath remain visible, while the lacquer may deepen and enhance their existing tone.
Trusted by professional flooring contractors for busy homes, shops, restaurants, hotels, offices and public buildings, Bona Traffic HD combines exceptional scratch, wear and chemical resistance with extremely rapid hardness development.
Light use is possible after approximately 6 hours , with the floor returning to full traffic after approximately 12 hours under normal drying conditions.
Each pack contains 4.54L of polyurethane lacquer plus 0.41L of hardener , giving approximately 4.95L of mixed product . Available in Silk Matt, Matt, Extra Matt and Anti-Slip finishes.
Bona Traffic HD is our preferred polyurethane lacquer where maximum durability and minimum downtime are required.
For untreated timber, apply one coat of a suitable Bona wood floor primer followed by two even coats of Bona Traffic HD.
For a coloured timber finish with the durability and easy maintenance of a lacquered floor, apply one carefully controlled coat of Bona Craft Oil 2K , prepare the dried oil correctly and follow with two coats of Bona Traffic HD.

Bona Traffic HD must be mixed accurately with its supplied hardener. Once mixed, the polyurethane lacquer has a limited working time and cannot be stored for later use.
