A characterful antique copper jardinière or planter dating to the late Victorian/Edwardian period, circa 1880–1910.

Made from formed copper with a rolled rim and raised on three decorative brass lion paw feet. The bowl has a wonderfully rich, naturally aged surface with areas of green verdigris throughout, particularly to the interior and around the rim.

Approximately 26cm diameter × 12cm high including the feet.

Good antique condition with substantial age-related patina, verdigris, surface marks, scratches and wear. Construction seams/joints are visible as photographed. The surface has deliberately been left unpolished to preserve its aged character.

A striking decorative piece, ideal as a small jardinière, plant pot holder or simply displayed as an antique copper vessel.

Please study all photographs carefully as these form an important part of the description.
