This is an authentic vintage gold-filled fire chief duty badge issued to Fred Jurisch from the Bergenfield Fire Department in Bergen County, New Jersey.
Based on historical records, Fred Jurisch (1913–1982) was a lifelong Bergenfield resident and community servant who served as a high-ranking officer in the emergency services, including as a past president of the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Badge measures 2.5” x 1.75”. It dates to the 1950s-60s.

Found at an estate sale.

I have added an additional 20 year service pin to the sale.
