Nice group of 7 vintage LOCKON SNAP Colorado Spinner fishing lures manufactured by Aeroplane Spinner Mfg. Company, all still mounted on their original illustrated display cards.

The lot includes a mixture of brass and copper spinner blades:

5 – Brass No. 4 Colorado Spinners
2 – Copper No. 6 Colorado Spinners

The No. 6 copper examples feature attractive hammered copper blades, while the No. 4 examples have smooth brass-colored blades. Each lure retains its wire rig, hook and original LOCKON SNAP / Colorado Spinner advertising card.

The cards are especially nice for display and show the original LOCKON trademark graphics, fish illustration, size/finish identification and Aeroplane Spinner Mfg. Company name along the bottom.

These came from an older fishing tackle collection and are being sold together as one lot.

Condition: Vintage old-stock/display condition. Lures show varying amounts of tarnish, oxidation, discoloration, spotting and storage wear from age. Cards show toning, staining, edge/corner wear, creasing and general handling/storage wear. One of the copper cards has considerably heavier staining and age wear. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition.

Includes all 7 original carded spinners shown.

Excellent group for a collector of vintage fishing lures, early spinner baits, tackle advertising, carded fishing tackle or Aeroplane Spinner Mfg. Company memorabilia.
