Item package has been opened. Toner cartridge has the plastic seals and has not been opened as shown in the picture. I'm unsure when this item has expired, unable to find the date beside copy right date of 2009 on the box which isn't the manufacturing date. I never seen a expired toner cartridge not work yet and you can breathe easy as I do have a 14 day return warranty as there is no risk to you.
