Spillers Creampuff Self-Raising Flour empty Bag 1963.
This is a lovely example of a 12 x 4 paper bag that once held 3 lb net of Spillers Creampuff Self-Raising Flour. If it was full the depth would be 2 and it would be around 10 high. The front has a flash that reads Help Yourself to a Packet of Cake Cases (which I guess would have been given free when the flour was purchased). On the back there is an offer for a non-stick saucepan worth 26/-, yours for only 16/9 and six Spillers Units (tokens / coupons). Which may explain why this bag was saved as the side panel has a token for 3 Spillers Units. Also, the other side panel has an offer for a fluffy bunny for children (although this only requires three Spillers Units. The bag is in very good clean and flat condition.
