Antique Victorian Needlepoint 13x15 Carpetbag Purse 1880’s Ex Condition

THIS IS FROM A SMALL COLLECTION OF TEXTILES I HAVE FROM A PROMINENT SIOUX CITY, IOWA FAMILY (Dr Smith). I believe these items I’ll be listing date from 1850’s-1890’s.

This carpet bag is really nice and in great condition inside and out. The handles are made of wooden embroidery hoops with yarn crocheted around them and could use a little filling in of the yarn.

It measures 15” wide and 13” high plus handles. See photos. No adverse smells and from a smoke free home.
