A scarce and attractive vintage postcard showing Calfaria Baptist Chapel, Clydach-on-Tawe, Swansea, South Wales.

The photograph shows the historic chapel with the adjoining building, traditional street lamps and surrounding stone walls.

The front is captioned “Calfaria, Clydach”.

The reverse is particularly interesting as it is credited to W. Robins' Studio, Clydach, a local photographic studio.

Calfaria Baptist Chapel dates from 1868, making this an interesting historical view of one of Clydach's historic places of worship. Cadw Public API

Condition: Vintage condition with age-related toning, marks and minor surface wear. Please study the photographs carefully.
