This is a large one of a kind lot of original 1920s flapper illustrations, hand drawn in pen and ink with some watercolor and pencil, several signed Kay in the corner. Subjects include women golfing, sunbathing under a parasol, dancing the Charleston, rowing a boat, at a vanity with a telephone, reading a newspaper, and embracing a partner, all in the graphic silhouette and fashion plate style of the Jazz Age. A few unfinished pencil studies are included too. The group is housed in a vintage Old Stratford Lawn stationery box with a printed lion crest label, likely where the artist got her paper. Each sheet is roughly 7 by 5 inches.
