Difficult to find DURAND & KASPER CHICAGO Advertising Jug as pictured. Approximately 1 Gallon. Jug produced by the A. J. Weeks company from Akron, Ohio. Has a patent date of March 3, 1891 in the blue stencil on the top of the jug. Durand & Kasper was a large Grocery and Coffee importing firm in Chicago during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s that also provided a number of liquid products like oils and syrups.

There is a chip towards the back right side that does not detract from the frontal view.
