This printed postcard depicts the castle-like arched entrance to Olentangy Park spanning streetcar tracks in Columbus, Ohio.

Olentangy Park operated from 1880 to 1937 along the Olentangy River in the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.

Originally established as a tavern and picnic ground, the site was purchased by the Dusenbury brothers in 1899 and rapidly expanded into the largest amusement park in the United States during its peak era.

The park featured a zoo, Japanese garden, large swimming pool, and wooden roller coasters including the Figure Eight.

Its infrastructure was heavily integrated with the local streetcar network, with tracks routing directly through the park's main gates to facilitate mass transit access for the city's population.
