This is an original a pair of OEM GM high performance cylinder heads for Small Block Chevy engines. The casting number on each head is 3782461. This casting is known as a “camel hump” or “camel back” head due to the double humps cast into the ends of the head. The camel hump heads were reserved for the higher performance Small Block Chevy engines. These particular heads are set up from the factory for 1.94 inch intake and 1.50 inch exhaust valves. These heads have a casting dates of I 18 64 and I 24 64 which decode as September 18th and 24th, 1964. This is a real deal pair of 1964 dated camel hump heads.

These heads are in good unrestored original condition. They are completely stock and do not appear to have ever been modified. They even retain original GM valves. The heads have been inspected for cracks and are guaranteed to be crack free. They are complete with factory valves, springs, and retainers. The rocker studs are still the factory press in units as shown. The intake and exhaust ports are totally stock with no porting or modifications. The combustion chambers are stock with no deburring and all valves sit high in the seats. All threads are in good condition with no helicoils or thread inserts. These are simply very nice original high performance heads that have survived the test of time. These heads are cores that have been in cool,dry storage for decades and will need to be rebuilt before use. These 3782461 heads are becoming very hard to find in any condition.
