Beautiful matching pair of vintage marbled glass light shades, probably dating from around the 1930s–1940s.

These have a particularly lovely tulip/bell shape with scalloped petal-like lower edges and softly frosted opaque glass in a beautiful combination of pale aqua blue, turquoise, creamy white and pale green.

The glass has attractive flowing white marbled and swirl decoration throughout, giving each shade its own individual character. The unusual colouring and matching pair make these particularly decorative examples of early 20th-century lighting glass.

Good vintage condition overall. There is age-related wear and discolouration around the upper fitter rims from previous fittings, together with minor surface marks consistent with age and use. Please study all photographs carefully as these form part of the description.
