VTG Maya Evangelista Handcrafted Frosted Resin Cage Purse Necklace Wearable Art

Rare 1980s designer wearable art piece by Maya Evangelista. This statement purse necklace features a sculpted, translucent frosted honey-amber resin body enclosed in a detailed silver-tone metal cage with dangling metal chains and faceted glass bead fringe accents.

The incredible mixed-media strap includes woven metal mesh rope segments, genuine freshwater pearls, and large faceted clear glass beads. It features the signature ornate "Maya" metal cartouche stamp on the back of the frame. Inside features a strong magnetic snap closure.
