Offered here is a fossil cetacean tooth, attributed to a dolphin, from Sarasota, Florida. The tooth measures approximately 1.24 inches in length with a maximum diameter of about 0.30 inches.



Sarasota-area deposits are well known for producing fossil marine mammal material alongside shark teeth and other vertebrate fossils. This specimen shows solid mineralization and natural surface texture consistent with authentic fossil cetacean teeth from Florida. Sold honestly as a fossil, with no repairs or restoration.
