Vintage W.S. George Pottery White Oval Restaurant Ware Serving Platter.  Two thin blue accent lines around the outer rim and inner border.  Decorated with a small, deep blue transferware Dutch Windmills pattern, also known as Windmill Seaside.  Measures 15" long x 11" wide x 1 5/8" deep.  HEAVY.  Hallmark codes on back date the piece to 1930s.  Heavy, durable, beautiful, discontinued pattern.  Faint utensil scratches consistent with age of the platter.  Sticker residue.  Last picture shows a small spot of paint loss on the inner blue line.  Made in USA.  Excellent condition.  No visible cracks, crazing, chips or damage other than noted.  STAND NOT INCLUDED.  Smoke-free home.
