Large vintage Sandicast Poodle sculpture by Sandra Brue, dated 1988. This is the larger 9.5" long × approximately 6.5" high version.
Beautifully modeled apricot/light brown Poodle in a relaxed lying pose, with Sandicast's characteristic realistic sculpting: highly detailed curly coat, expressive glass-like eyes, and carefully hand-painted facial features.
Original Sandicast label remains on the underside, identifying the piece as an original sculpture hand cast and hand painted in San Diego, California, USA, © 1988 S. Brue. Brue marking/signature is also present on the base.
A substantial and wonderfully lifelike vintage piece—especially nice for a Poodle owner, Sandicast collector, or collector of Sandra Brue animal sculptures.
