Vintage Collection of Six St. Patrick's Day-Themed Gold-Tone Novelty Brooches
Vintage Collection of Six St. Patrick's Day-Themed Gold-Tone Novelty Brooches. These gold-tone with green accented brooches featuring leprechauns and shamrocks. Four brooches are signed "B.J." on the back a hallmark used by the Beatrix Jewelry Company a Rhode Island costume jewelry manufacturer active from 1946 until 1983. All six brooches have rollover lock pin clasp that are all in good working order. The set includes:
- A B.J. gold-tone smiling leprechaun wearing a green hat and suit in a Horseshoe featuring green enamel and rhinestone accents. Very good condition.
- A B.J. open-wire shamrock with a top hat, pipe and smaller shamrock featuring enamel and tiny rhinestone accents. Fair condition, missing stem, chipped enamel and missing rhinestone on smaller shamrock.
- A silver-tone top hat and cane featuring green rhinestone accents. Fair condition missing some green rhinestone on the cane.
- A green enamel four-leaf clover featuring a central faux pearl and green enamel leaves. Very good condition.
- A B.J. gold-tone articulated running leprechaun (lower half moves) with a pipe in his mouth featuring green, white and black enamel detail accents. Fair condition some enamel loss.
- A B.J. gold-tone leprechaun Centered in a shamrock featuring green enamel and rhinestone accents. Very good condition.
The Brooches overall are good vintage condition any defects are noted above in the listing. The Brooches have been in climate controlled storage for at least 30-years and have not been cleaned or touched up in any way. Every effort is made to faithfully represent the colors in the photos as close to the original "real-life" colors as possible.
