This absolutely will need a new or reworked plug. It does work but the plug is loose. The wire and socket seem fine. But it is amazing when lighted. It is amazing just hanging up. Anyone who sees this first comments how cool then try to buy it. This is your chance to own the most unique lamp in the world! It has a lot of points that look as if it was made in the early 1900s Makonde people ceremonial mask. But I am not an expert. The helmet appears to be added later and is probably a treasure on its own! Please ask any questions or feel free to inform me about this treasure. This probably hung in a very wealthy persons African trophy room in the 1930s. It is that cool!
