A charming vintage mid-century ceramic terrier figurine featuring a striking, iridescent lusterware glaze. The beautiful mother-of-pearl surface catches the light with a soft, multi-colored rainbow shimmer over the detailed molded fur.

This unique piece features the classic long-nosed, blocky silhouette of a Scottish Terrier (Scottie) but is finished in a beautiful white glaze, making it a West Highland White Terrier (Westie) as well.

The underside of the figurine features the authentic, stamped red ink mark: MADE IN JAPAN. This stamp style places its production firmly in the 1950s to 1960s export era.
