A well handled and worn carved wooden female Ibeji twin idol with classic features, carved dyed blue coiffure, facial scars and large eyes.

 The figure measures 10.5 inches tall. Yoruba peoples, Nigeria, West Africa.

 Provenance: Field collected in situ by the Taylor family while working for the Peace Corps in the 1960s. The mask has been in their private collection ever since.
