How to Use

1. Install a 9V battery into the battery compartment.
2. Turn the power switch to ON and wait until the READY OK indicator lights up.
3. Adjust the sensitivity according to the carat size of the stone.
4. Keep the probe perpendicular at 90° to the stone surface and gently touch it.
5. Check the LED indicator and buzzer for the test result.
6. Turn the tester OFF after use and replace the protective probe cap.

Important Testing Notes

• 9V battery is NOT included.
• The probe must be held at approximately 90° to the stone for accurate operation.
• Clean dirt and oil from the gemstone before testing.
• Ambient temperature and metal settings can affect readings.
• Very small stones below approximately 0.05ct may produce unstable results.
• Do not press the probe hard or bend it during testing.
• Moissanite may also show high thermal conductivity, so this tester cannot reliably distinguish moissanite from natural diamond.
• This is an auxiliary testing tool, not a professional gemological certification device. For authoritative identification, consult a qualified gem testing laboratory.
