Impressive vintage globe cocktail drinks cabinet / bar trolley with richly illustrated antique-style world map decoration and a deep burgundy wooden frame.

The upper half of the globe lifts open on its hinge to reveal a fitted drinks storage area with shaped sections for bottles and glasses. The inside of the lid is decorated with an elaborate classical mythological scene, while the surrounding equatorial ring features colourful zodiac signs and astrological/calendar detailing.

The lower section has a large decorative compass-style shelf together with an additional circular bottle storage/support section. The cabinet stands on turned wooden legs and is fitted with castors, allowing it to be moved around relatively easily.

There is no visible manufacturer's name or label, so the maker is unknown. It has the classic appearance associated with Italian and European globe bars of the 1960s/1970s period, but it is being sold as unbranded.

A very striking piece of vintage furniture which would work particularly well as a home bar, drinks cabinet, cocktail station or decorative statement piece.

The cabinet is in good overall vintage condition with age-related marks, light scratches, rubbing and general signs of previous use. There is some tarnishing and surface oxidation to the metal castor fittings, as shown in the photographs. The globe artwork remains very attractive with strong colours and plenty of detail. The lid opens correctly and the internal fittings are present.
