Vintage Geneve 25 Jewel Super Automatic Swiss mechanical wristwatch, measuring approximately 32mm across the case excluding the crown.
A great-looking mid-century Swiss automatic with a silver dial, applied Arabic numerals and arrow-style hour markers, dauphine-style hands and a centre seconds hand. The dial is signed Geneve, 25 Jewel, Super Automatic and also carries the Unbreakable Mainspring marking.
The stainless-steel caseback is marked Automatic, Waterproof, Incabloc, Stainless Steel Back, Swiss Made. Comparable Geneve Super Automatic watches from this period are generally dated to the 1950s/early 1960s, with 25-jewel Swiss automatic movements used in these models.
The watch is currently ticking, however it has not been tested for accuracy, power reserve or long-term running and is therefore being sold as spares or repair.
There is visible age-related wear throughout including marks and patina to the dial, scratches to the crystal, wear to the gold-tone case finish and general surface wear consistent with an unrestored vintage watch. Please study the photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition.
