What a lovely rare pair of silver-plated on copper bedside candlestick lamps. Paired with the modern clip-on lamp shades they are seamless. The ornate decorations are probably of baroque influence.

They will make any room special and stand out. Particularly as bedside lamps, they will be ideal to read, listen to music or just relax and be cosy. Personally, i like these lamps compared to silver-plated lamps that have a single tone. The interplay of copper and silver tone is simply beautiful.

Please read the following
  1. I could not find any makers mark for the silver plating. Though it is evident that it is silver plated, i cannot vouch for it. Hence, please decide to purchase based on your discretion
  2. These lamps are not for everyone. It is for those who are perfectly happy with the imperfections it has acquired over the years - tarnish, dents, scratches, loss of silver plating in several areas etc. These antique lamps are still far from retirement
  3. bulbs are not included
  4. Please note that the lampshades are clip-on type and will only take a bayonet candle bulb

Please read the description and look closely at the pictures. No returns or cancellation please.

Lamp Condition - In good condition though there are several imperfections due to age.  such as minor scratches and dents. One has a very long braided flex cable while the other is short as it wa customary for bedside lamps. The lamps have a matching collar of the lampshade tassels which is a nice touch.

It is 35 cm high to the bulb holder and has a 13.5 cm diameter at the base. Measures 45 cm high with the lampshade. Each lamp weighs around 1.1 kg.

Lampshade Condition - The clip-on lampshades are clean and in very good condition.  The lampshades are really beautiful especially when lit. The lampshades are 17 cm tall and has a 9 & 14 cm diameter at the top and bottom.
