Up for sale is the legendary LUXMAN PD-444 high-end armless direct drive turntable. Released in December 1977, the PD-444 is renowned among audiophiles for its massive chassis structure and dual-tonearm mounting capability, allowing vinyl enthusiasts to mount up to two tonearms (such as a 9-inch and a 12-inch arm simultaneously).
Driven by a high-torque brushless DC servo motor with quartz lock controls and a heavy 2.5 kg aluminum die-cast platter, it offers ultra-stable rotation speed and exceptional vibration isolation for uncompromising audio reproduction.

Tested & As-Is Condition: Platter rotation, Start/Stop button response, 33/45 RPM speed switching, and indicator light illuminations have been tested and confirmed working. Because no cartridge/needle is installed, audio sound output has not been verified. Sold as-is.
- Operational Checks: Power turned on successfully. Platter spins smoothly, speed switches properly between 33 and 45 RPM, Start/Stop buttons function, and indicator lights illuminate.
- Sound Output: Unchecked (no stylus/needle included).
- Cosmetic Condition: Shows vintage pre-owned wear including surface scratches, scuffs, minor discoloration, and tarnish consistent with age and storage. Please inspect all photographs carefully for precise physical condition.
