Beautiful Vintage 36.5cm Embossed Brass on
Copper Wall Charger

For sale is a classic mid-century decorative metal wall plaque featuring a highly detailed, embossed (repoussé) traditional English tavern or pub dining scene. The artwork depicts figures in 16th/17th-century period dress gathering around a table, dining, drinking, and playing music.
The plaque is constructed using a thin layer of brass pressed over a copper base. This composition gives the piece a striking multi-toned appearance, allowing the warm copper undertones to contrast beautifully against the golden brass highlights. The central artwork is beautifully framed by an ornate, continuous border of embossed floral motifs and scrolls.
