Antique Ambrosia Pure Milk Chocolate advertising metal display frame, dating to approximately the 1930s. This is not a complete display, but rather the original painted metal frame that was designed to mount on top of a wooden countertop display box.

It is a metal frame and flange sign whicih would hold a piece of glass (not included) atop a wooden case (also not included). The glass and metals frame raises to get access to the contents.

The advertising panel reads:

"Ambrosia Pure Milk Chocolate – For EATING and HOT FUDGE on Ice Cream."

The frame retains its original brown finish with lettering and still has the folding rear wire support attached. The reverse is marked:

"Advertising Metal Display Co., Inc., Chicago, Ill."

Measures approximately 8.5" wide x 11" long, with the rear advertising panel standing about 2.5" high when the frame is closed. It displays as shown and folds flat for storage.

Condition is good overall for its age with expected paint wear, scuffs, edge wear, scratches, and light oxidation from use. No major breaks or repairs noted. Please examine all photos carefully as they are part of the description.

This is a scarce survivor that would make an excellent addition to an advertising, soda fountain, confectionery, candy, chocolate, or general store display collection. It is an original period piece, only the metal display frame is included—the wooden base/display box is not present.

Authentic period piece related to family, history or local heritage - well-suited for historical collections, genealogical /genealogy research, or museum acquisition.  Vintage or Antique.

CONDITION:  The flap is a little bent on upper left side but bends easy enough. See listing description and photos.
