ULTIMATE PHOTO EDITING SUITE
Four photo and graphics programs from four projects, on one disc or drive. GIMP, Inkscape, LightZone and RawTherapee, in the current stable release for Windows, for both kinds of Mac and for Linux, with the earlier releases that still serve older computers, the source code of all four, and each project's own manual.
This is a photo and graphics suite built from four separate programs, each taken from the project that makes it. GIMP is the image editor, Inkscape the vector editor, LightZone the photographer's non-destructive editor, and RawTherapee the RAW processor. Between them they cover retouching a photograph, processing a camera RAW file, designing a logo or a diagram, and finishing a picture for print or for the web.
Both Mac architectures, both Linux architectures and Windows on Arm are covered here, and so are the manuals the projects themselves publish: GIMP's own user manual for both series, Inkscape's finished manual as a PDF and as an EPUB, the LightZone Help book, and the RawTherapee documentation. All of it is readable straight from the media, with nothing installed and no internet connection.
The Four Programs
- GIMP, the image editor: layers, selections, masks, curves, levels, color adjustment and retouching, with support for a wide range of file formats and for plugins and scripts that add more.
- Inkscape, the vector editor: paths, shapes, text and gradients, working in SVG as its own format, so artwork scales to any size for print, for the web or for a cutting machine.
- LightZone, the photographer's editor: an edit is built as a stack of tools rather than a fixed set of layers, so every adjustment can be switched off, reordered, readjusted or removed at any point, in the same session or a later one, and the file you imported is left exactly as it was.
- RawTherapee, the RAW processor: camera RAW files handled with precise control over exposure, highlights and shadows, color, sharpening, noise reduction and detail, exported to common formats for finishing elsewhere.
- They work together: Inkscape exports PNG that GIMP opens, GIMP exports paths that Inkscape opens, and RawTherapee and LightZone export TIFF or JPEG that either of the other two opens.
Every Release The Projects Publish
Each program is named with its version, so you can see what you are installing rather than guess at an unnamed setup file.
- Windows 64 bit: GIMP 3.2.6, Inkscape 1.4.4, LightZone 5.0.2 and RawTherapee 5.13, all four being the current stable release of that project.
- Windows on Arm: RawTherapee 5.13, which the project publishes as a native Arm build. Most suites do not carry one.
- Windows, older computers: GIMP 2.10.38, the final release of the 2.10 series; Inkscape 1.3.2, the previous stable series; LightZone 4.2.4, the build the project points Windows users at for anything before Windows 11; and RawTherapee 5.12, the previous stable release.
- 32 bit Windows: LightZone 4.1.9, the last 32 bit Windows build the project published, kept in the project's own archived repository.
- Apple Silicon Mac: GIMP 3.2.6, Inkscape 1.4.4, LightZone 5.0.2 and RawTherapee 5.13, plus GIMP 2.10.38 and LightZone 4.2.5 for a Mac running an older macOS.
- Intel Mac: GIMP 3.2.6, Inkscape 1.4.4 and RawTherapee 5.13, plus GIMP 2.10.38, LightZone 4.2.5 and LightZone 4.1.7 for older Macs.
- Linux on Intel or AMD, 64 bit: GIMP 3.2.6 and RawTherapee 5.13 as AppImages, which run without being installed, plus LightZone 5.0.2 as a package for Debian, Ubuntu and Mint and as a package for Fedora.
- Linux on 64 bit ARM: GIMP 3.2.6 and RawTherapee 5.13 as AppImages, for a machine such as a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5.
- Source code: the official source archive of the current release of all four projects, for anything the binaries do not cover.
- Both Mac builds are native, for every program that publishes both, so the right one is included whichever processor your Mac has.
The Projects' Own Manuals Are Included
This pack carries what each project itself publishes. The manuals are not a single installation guide written by a reseller. Three of the four have a manual here that can be opened and read before anything is installed.
- The GIMP user manual, for both series, as readable HTML pages with their illustrations: every tool, every menu and every panel, covering the 3.2 series and the 2.10 series separately.
- The Inkscape manual as a finished PDF and as an EPUB, which is the only one of the four projects that publishes a complete book. It is in the Documentation folder and opens in any PDF reader or e-reader.
- The LightZone Help book, as HTML pages with their illustrations, taken from the project's own source archive, exactly as the program's own Help menu shows it.
- The RawTherapee documentation, which that project publishes as the RawPedia website. The copy here is the project's own documentation.
- Each project's license text, release notes, changelog and README, so the terms are in front of you rather than described.
- Nothing needs installing to read any of it, and none of it needs an internet connection.
The Minimum macOS Figure Comes From The Build
A disk image names a macOS version in its file name, and that is where it was built, not what it needs. The real requirement is recorded inside the program itself, and inside the libraries it carries. Those were read directly, and the figures below are what the builds declare.
- GIMP 3.2.6 for Apple Silicon: macOS 11.0
- GIMP 3.2.6 for Intel: macOS 11.0
- GIMP 2.10.38 for Apple Silicon: macOS 13.0
- GIMP 2.10.38 for Intel: macOS 13.0
- Inkscape 1.4.4 for Apple Silicon: macOS 11.3
- Inkscape 1.4.4 for Intel: macOS 11.0
- LightZone 5.0.2 for Apple Silicon: macOS 14.0
- LightZone 4.2.5, both architectures: macOS 12.0
- LightZone 4.1.7 for older Intel Macs: macOS 10.11
- RawTherapee 5.13 for Macs: one universal build that carries both architectures in a single file, needing macOS 26.0 on Apple Silicon or macOS 12.0 on Intel
- RawTherapee 5.12 for Macs: the previous release, packaged the same way, needing macOS 15.4 on Apple Silicon or macOS 12.3 on Intel. Both are included because the two declare different Apple Silicon floors.
- The full table, image by image, is printed in the Read Me on the media, so you can check your own Mac against it before you install anything.
System Requirements
- Windows 64 bit: GIMP 3.2.6, Inkscape 1.4.4, LightZone 5.0.2 and RawTherapee 5.13.
- Windows on Arm: RawTherapee 5.13.
- 32 bit Windows: LightZone 4.1.9, the last 32 bit Windows build that project published.
- Older Windows: GIMP 2.10.38, Inkscape 1.3.2, LightZone 4.2.4 and RawTherapee 5.12, for a computer the current releases have left behind.
- Apple Silicon Mac and Intel Mac: the minimum macOS of each disk image is printed in the Read Me, and each figure is the one that build declares.
- Linux: a 64 bit distribution on Intel or AMD, or on 64 bit ARM for the two AppImages. Debian, Ubuntu and Mint install the LightZone package, Fedora installs its package, and any other distribution builds the source archive.
- Disk space: the four current Windows programs install to roughly 2.5 GB together. GIMP alone is about 620 MB, and GIMP 2.10.38 about 1.2 GB.
- Administrator rights: needed to run a Windows installer and to install the Linux packages. The two Linux AppImages need none.
- No internet connection needed, for any of the four programs, or for any of the manuals, which are all on the media.
The projects publish no fixed processor or memory figure for this suite, and no figure is invented here. Each of the four programs has its own modest requirements, and the Read Me names the file to use on each system.
eBay Compliance
This listing complies with eBay's software policy. This is a lawful compilation of redistributable software. No paid, commercial, or copyrighted software is included. Every program fits one of these categories:
- GNU General Public License: GIMP is released under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later, RawTherapee under version 3, and Inkscape under version 3 or later, which is the version Inkscape's own license file states for its complete binaries. That license grants everyone the right to run the program for any purpose, to study how it works, to redistribute copies, and to distribute modified versions, provided the source code is made available under the same license and the copyright notices are kept. The source code of each project travels on this media. Nothing here has been modified, and the license text of each project is on the media.
- BSD 3-Clause licensed: LightZone is released under the BSD 3-Clause license. The developer's own license file carries the copyright notice and the three conditions, including the clause that the LightZone name and the names of its contributors may not be used to endorse or promote products derived from the software without specific prior written permission. That license grants everyone the right to redistribute the software in source or binary form, in any medium, provided the copyright notice, the list of conditions and the disclaimer are kept with it. The full license text travels on the media. Nothing here uses the project's name to endorse this pack, and nothing here is derived from the software.
- Official releases, unmodified: Every file on the media is the official release as published by the project that makes the software, unchanged. Nothing has been patched, cracked, or rebuilt.
The GIMP, Inkscape, LightZone and RawTherapee names are used here to refer to those programs themselves. This pack is an independent compilation and is not endorsed by or affiliated with any of the four projects or their contributors. The software box shown in any product images is a display image only and is not included. You receive the media only.
eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program targets listings that infringe intellectual property. This listing does not fall into that category because the GNU General Public License and the BSD 3-Clause license already authorize the copying and redistribution being done here. Buyers receive only the rights the original licenses grant.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this item delivered?
This is a physical item (USB drive or DVD) that will be shipped to you. Choose your format when you order. The content is identical on both. A USB drive reads much faster than a DVD, so choose USB for the quickest install, or copy the pack to your computer first if you take the DVD.
Which file should I install?
On Windows 64 bit, the four current releases are gimp-3.2.6-setup.exe, inkscape-1.4.4_2026-05-05_dcaf3e7-x64.signed.exe, LightZone-5.0.2-20260806T134609-windows-64bit.msi and RawTherapee_5.13_win64_x86_64_release.exe. On an Apple Silicon Mac, take the arm64 or aarch64 disk image in each folder. On an Intel Mac, take the x86_64 disk image. On Linux, the two AppImages run without being installed. The Read Me on the media lists every file against the system it serves.
Do I have to install all four programs?
No. They are four separate programs from four separate projects. Install the ones you want, in any order, on as many of your own computers as you like.
Is a manual included?
Yes, and it is the projects' own. The GIMP user manual for both series is on the media as HTML pages, Inkscape's finished manual is there as a PDF and as an EPUB, the LightZone Help book is there as HTML pages, and the RawTherapee documentation is there as well. All of it opens without installing anything. The GIMP manual is also supplied in the form the project ships, which installs it into an existing GIMP installation.
Which Mac build do I need?
Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. A Chip line means Apple Silicon, and a Processor line means Intel. Both are included as native builds, and the Read Me states the minimum macOS of each image, as each build declares it.
Are these the current releases?
The pack carries the current stable release of all four programs, and in addition the earlier releases that still serve computers the current ones have moved on from, including GIMP 2.10.38, Inkscape 1.3.2, LightZone 4.2.4 and 4.1.9, and RawTherapee 5.12.
