Elementa Philosophiae Christianae Sanseverino 1874 Vol 1 Antique Latin Philosophy Book

An authentic antique philosophy text titled "Elementa Philosophiae Christianae cum Antiqua et Nova Comparata," authored by Gaetano Sanseverino. Published in Naples (Neapoli) by Apud Officinam Bibliothecae Catholicae Scriptorum, this is Volume I, dated MDCCCLXXIII-IV (1873–1874).

This collectible 19th-century theological volume features marbled paper boards with a leather spine, gilded faux-raised bands, and decorated endpapers. It includes historical ink inscriptions on the title page (notably a signature noting "Francis Holmes, Lisbon 8/3/85") as well as traditional theological imprimatur and nihil obstat notices. The text is entirely in Latin and covers comprehensive classical scholasticism, logic, and Christian philosophy.

Condition Notes: Antique condition with expected wear appropriate for a 19th-century volume. The leather spine shows chipping and surface wear at the head and tail, while the marbled boards show rubbing along the edges. The internal pages exhibit age-related foxing and spotting (predominantly around the early leaves and title pages), but the binding remains intact with clean, legible text.
