Rode NT1-A large diaphragm condenser microphone in very good condition. Microphone and Rode pouch only. No shock mount, pop filter or cable.

This was carried by a professional TV news crew as a backup voice track mic in the field. It has been looked after and used sparingly, and it works perfectly. Selling as I clear out broadcast kit ahead of a move abroad.

The NT1-A is a classic for a reason: one of the quietest large diaphragm condensers ever made at 5dBA self noise, with a smooth, warm sound that suits vocals, voiceover, podcasting, acoustic instruments and room recording. Rode has now discontinued it in favour of the NT1 5th Gen, so this is the original version many people still prefer.

Comes with the Rode pouch, which has a small rip in it. It still does its job and I will ship the mic inside it, well packed, for protection.

You will need an XLR cable and an interface or mixer with 48V phantom power. The standard Rode SM6 shock mount and any generic large diaphragm shock mount will fit.
