This is a lovely vintage doll that was produced by Ideal in 1965 as Tammy’s little sister Pepper . She is very similar to Pedigree’s Patch. She 9 inches tall , has blue side glancing eyes , lots of freckles , lightly blushed cheeks and red lips . She has dark blonde wavy hair . Her arms and legs are wired so they can stay in a pose . She has a couple of very light marks but is otherwise in excellent condition. Pepper is not missing any hair plugs , she has no nibbles or chews and nice crisp features. I have no idea if her pretty dress is original but she looks cute wearing it , her shoes are replacements but fit Pepper perfectly . There is also a Pepper sized doll carry case by Ideal . It features cute illustrations and has a sturdy handle , it has a few splits at the corners on the inside , I’m not sure if there should be a press stud strap to hold it shut and inside it smells very musty , not surprising as it’s probably been shut for decades ! If you could successfully freshen it up it would be a lovely piece and is a rare find .
