Our used light meters are manually checked before sale and divided into the following condition categories:
- Good: Technically fully functional with slight to normal signs of wear (e.g. small scratches or slightly matt housing parts).
- Acceptable: Functional, but with more noticeable signs of wear such as major scratches, wear or slight yellowing of plastic parts.
- Defect: Not functional - suitable as a spare parts dispenser or for decoration.
We check these functions:
- ✅ Measurement response (light and/or aperture scale)
- ✅ Usability of the setting elements
- ✅ Display (analog or digital)
We are checking these points not:
- ❌ Accuracy compared to reference measuring devices
- ❌ Compatibility with specific camera models or accessories
Please note: Each light meter is unique. Visual deviations such as logos, serial numbers or housing colors are possible.
