Totodile 008/018 – 2002 McDonald’s Minimum★Pack
A beautiful vintage Japanese Totodile (ワニノコ) 008/018 from the 2002 McDonald’s Pokémon Card e Minimum★Pack.
Released exclusively through McDonald’s Japan, this early Pokémon Card e promotional release is instantly recognizable by its unusual gold barcode-style design along the left and bottom borders — a distinctly early-2000s Pokémon aesthetic that was never replicated in modern sets.
The artwork by Hajime Kusajima captures Totodile bursting energetically through the water, surrounded by bubbles and splashing water.
The vivid artwork, Japanese-exclusive McDonald’s release, and distinctive Pokémon Card e design make this a fantastic piece of early-2000s Pokémon history.
🇯🇵 Japanese McDonald’s Exclusive
The Minimum★Pack was released through McDonald’s Japan in 2002 and represents one of the most distinctive collaborations from the early Pokémon Card e era.
Unlike standard expansion cards, these cards are immediately identifiable by their McDonald’s logo and unique e-Series border design.
Because these cards were originally distributed to children more than two decades ago, many surviving examples show substantial play wear.
This particular copy has been very well preserved, with both the front and back presenting exceptionally cleanly for its age.

Condition
EX (Excellent)
This card is in excellent overall condition for a vintage Japanese promotional card from 2002.
Both the front and back remain remarkably clean, with very little visible evidence of handling or play. The artwork presents beautifully, the borders retain strong visual appeal, and the reverse is also exceptionally clean compared with many surviving cards from this release.
Only very minor age-related or handling wear may be visible upon close inspection, consistent with a card that is more than two decades old.
There are no major creases, bends, heavy whitening, or other significant damage visible in the provided photos.
Overall, this is a particularly clean and well-preserved example of Totodile 008/018 and an excellent candidate for a vintage Pokémon collection.
