Description

This vintage Navajo ring has the layered silverwork that gives 1970s stone-set jewelry so much character, pairing bright blue turquoise with softly luminous mother of pearl in a long two-stone composition. Hand-worked leaves sweep inward between the stones, joined by a small stamped rosette and silver drops, while darkened recesses bring out the depth of the applied work. The turquoise shows a few dark matrix markings, and the pale shell below provides a cool pearly contrast against the sterling silver.

The reverse is signed with an unidentified pictorial sunburst mark; no metal fineness stamp is present.
