Description

Distinctive and finely worked, this vintage Navajo sterling silver ring is signed J. Nezzie and features turquoise and red coral chip inlay arranged as a stylized bird across an elongated shield-form face. The turquoise mosaic fills the wings and body, while a red coral accent forms the head. Recessed silver channels, cutout details and engraved tail feathers give the design strong dimension. The face is mounted on a split shank with open shoulders. The silver retains a deep natural patina.
