The Iwatsu Hineri Art Glass Bowl/Ashtray in yellow, red, and violet swirl is a vintage piece of decorative glass originating from Japan. This abstractly shaped bowl features a unique swirl pattern, and a “Sommerso” Italian Murano manufacturing technique making it a standout piece for any home decor. Made of glass in the 1960s to early 1970s this vintage ashtray from the Iwatsu Hineri product line adds a touch of retro charm to any space with its bold colors and artistic design.

PLEASE NOTE: this item is in gorgeous as-found condition from a local estate that felt like a 1960s time capsule. This bowl was used as an ashtray, but doesn’t have the usual scratches on the inside like the others I’ve found. There is what I would describe as a chafed or dull mark on the edge of one of the bowl petals. I’ve included a photo of location and a close up. This is not a chip, but more of a spot where it rubbed against something and caused a dull spot.
