Vintage Swedish-made shop counter coin dispenser/change holder, dating from approximately the 1970s–1980s.

A fantastic piece of original retail equipment, designed to hold and quickly dispense British decimal coins at a shop till or cash register.

The dispenser has six individual coin compartments labelled:

20p • 1p • 2p • 5p • 10p • 50p

Constructed from blue painted metal with black moulded upper sections and sprung metal dispensing mechanisms. The side is stamped MADE IN SWEDEN.

A particularly characterful piece of vintage commercial equipment which would make a great addition to a collection of shop fittings, cash registers, advertising or industrial memorabilia. It would also make an unusual display piece for a retro shop, bar or café.

Condition:

Good original vintage used condition with considerable authentic wear from its former working life. There are scratches, paint losses, surface marks, tarnishing and areas of surface rust/corrosion to the metal casing and mechanisms. The denomination strip also shows wear and losses.
