This is an original .455 Webley Automatic Pistol magazine that has British proof marks on the top of  back spine and on the follower.  There is also a small "40" stamped on the upper side of the bottom plate tang. The magazine retains about 60-65% of the original blue finish, with the balance having faded to either a plum-brown, or pewter gray patina. This is a rare magazine, and rates very good-fine condition overall.  A rare Mag!
