💡 Usage Tips
- Bind with an existing Mavic 2 remote via the aircraft link/pair button; not Mavic 3 RC.
- Use Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro Intelligent Flight Battery only; check battery firmware.
- Dolly Zoom = zoom out while flying backward (or zoom in while flying forward) for Hitchcock effect.
- Side sensing works mainly in ActiveTrack / Tripod; don’t rely on side avoidance in manual sport flight.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Aircraft only: no controller, no battery, no charger, no props—will NOT fly out of the box.
- Remote ID / regs: Mavic 2 Zoom is 905g—register in most regions; check local Remote ID rules.
- 8km is marketing: VLOS laws usually require keeping the drone in sight; range ≠ legal range.
- Not cross-generational: Mavic 2 batteries/remotes do NOT fit Mavic 3 / Air 3 / Mini 4 Pro.
- Side/deck sensors need light & texture: glass, fog, night, thin branches can fool avoidance.
