The Exo Terra Ceramic Heater is a radiant heat source and creates a sun-like warmth with even patterns. The long-wave infrared heat generated by the emitter warms reptiles very efficiently. It also increases the general air temperature in the terrarium. Infrared heat penetrates the dandruff and skin tissue, promoting health and healing processes as it dilates blood vessels and stimulates blood circulation. The ceramic heater may only be used with the specially designed Exo Terra Wire Light.
The bulb emits infrared heat waves and is a typical heat lamp. The spotlight has a specially built-in reflector so that the heat can be directed in any desired direction.
