PAIR OF BAGLEY & CO. URANIUM GLASS LEAF / CUCUMBER DISHES – PATTERN 3055
A lovely matching pair of Bagley & Co. pressed uranium glass leaf dishes, dating from around the 1930s.
These are the distinctive Leaf/Cucumber pattern, No. 3055, featuring beautifully detailed raised leaf veins, a textured ground and attractive scalloped/wavy edges.
The pale green glass has a very strong bright green fluorescence under UV/blacklight, as demonstrated in the photographs.
The reverse is particularly attractive, with the detailed moulded leaf design giving these pieces considerable decorative appeal even when displayed without UV light.
