Condition Details: Untested, sold as seen. No mouthpiece included. Silver plating shows tarnishing, wear and discolouration throughout, with visible brass showing through in places. Several dents present on the bell and tubing. The case shows wear to corners with some material loss. As the instrument is untested, playing condition cannot be confirmed.

Vintage silver-plated cornet by Hawkes & Son, 1st Class, Denman Street, Piccadilly Circus, London, serial number 30895. Three-valve construction with a fixed mouthpiece receiver and tuning slide with water key. Comes with its original black hard case lined in green fabric, featuring a carry handle and latch closures. A piece of brass musical history from a well-known London instrument maker.
