Ciano Filtration Pack XL 3 Month Aquarium Filter Media Refill CFBIO XL 12 Piece

Ciano Filtration Pack – Size XL | 3 Months of Aquarium Filtration

The complete three-month media kit for Ciano's largest CFBIO XL filter — twelve cartridges covering every stage of the filtration chain, from coarse pre-filtration through to biological media.

What's in the box (12 pieces)

• 1 × Water Foam Coarse (black) – XL
• 1 × Water Foam 30 PPI (black) – XL
• 6 × Water Pad (white) – XL
• 1 × Water Bio-Bact (green) – XL
• 3 × Water Clear & Protection (blue) – XL

What each cartridge does

• Water Foam Coarse – First-stage mechanical filtration. Open-cell sponge that catches larger debris before it reaches the finer media, protecting flow rate. Replace every 90 days.
• Water Foam 30 PPI – Second-stage mechanical filtration. Traps finer suspended particles and organic waste. Replace every 90 days.
• Water Pad – Fine polishing wool that removes the last of the fine sediment for genuinely crystal-clear water. Replace every 15 days (6 supplied = 3 months).
• Water Bio-Bact – Biological filtration. High-surface-area medium giving beneficial nitrifying bacteria room to establish, keeping ammonia and nitrite in check. Replace every 90 days.
• Water Clear & Protection – Chemical filtration. Activated carbon removes discolouration, odours and harmful dissolved substances while helping to prevent algae. Replace every 30 days (3 supplied = 3 months).

Compatible with

Ciano CFBIO XL filters only, as fitted to Ciano Emotions Pro 60, 80, 100 and 120 aquariums.

Check your size before ordering

This pack fits the CFBIO XL filter exclusively and will not fit the CFBIO 150, CFBIO 250, CF80 or any smaller Ciano filter. XL media is substantially larger than the other sizes — the XL foam measures approximately 10.6 × 8.6 × 3.5 cm. If you are unsure, take out your existing cartridge and measure it, or check the model number printed on your filter housing before ordering.

Why buy the pack

Twelve cartridges in one purchase, at a significant saving over buying each media type separately — and it keeps a large aquarium's full five-stage filtration stocked for a whole quarter.

Free My Ciano app – Tracks the wear on every cartridge and reminds you when each is due. iOS and Android.

Suitable for freshwater aquariums. Remove the Water Clear & Protection cartridge during medication treatments.
