Watch Waterproof Tester
Product Dimensions & Specifications:
- Device (standalone): Length: 24.3cm, Width: 13cm, Height: 28.2cm; Rod length: 28cm
- Air Pressure: Maximum ~6 standard atmospheres (0~0.6MPa)
- Carton Packaging: Length: 27cm, Width: 17.6cm, Height: 31.2cm
- Liquid Capacity: Diameter: 7cm, Height: 14cm
- Weight: 3440g (standalone); 3780g (with packaging)
Tool Usage (Step-by-Step):
- Pull the watch-hanging rod as far out as possible.
- Loosen the two screws and remove the lid.
- Add water until it reaches the marked red line in the bucket.
- Hang the watch on the hanging rod.
- Reinstall the lid and tighten the screws.
- Pump the pressure rod to reach 3 atmospheres (Swiss watch industry official standard). Wait 3 minutes to allow air to enter the entire watch.
- Press down the hanging rod to submerge the watch in water, then press the exhaust button to let air escape.
- When pressure drops, observe if bubbles appear around the watch. If bubbles appear, the watch has poor sealing—quickly pull the hanging rod and remove the watch. If no bubbles appear, the watch has good sealing.
Precautions:
After building up pressure, place the watch in the upper air space for about 3 minutes to pressurize the inside of the watch. Then immediately submerge it in water to see bubbles. If you submerge the watch directly after pressurization, the internal pressure of the watch will be lower than the external pressure, causing water to enter. If used correctly, a leaking watch (with too large a gap) will lose internal air pressure too quickly to show bubbles in time.
This waterproof tester helps verify a watch’s water resistance by simulating pressure and checking for air leaks (via bubble observation), following Swiss watch industry standards.
