  • Uninterrupted Playtime & Battery Life: We highly recommend high-capacity rechargeable AA batteries (widely available and inexpensive) for optimal performance. You can expect 6 to 10 hours of stable playtime with recommended batteries, providing longer, more consistent sessions than most internal battery modifications.

  • Zero Downtime: When battery life fades, simply swap in a new pair of widely available AAAs and continue immediately - no waiting while charging, no complex power management. Regular disposable batteries also work extremely well.

  • Quality Soldering & Protection: All connection points feature quality soldering, and additional steps are taken to prevent short-circuiting and interference, ensuring long-term reliability.

  • Clean Power: Corroded battery terminals are replaced with new parts.

  • Full System Restoration: The volume wheel, power switch, cartridge reader, and all external ports are fully cleaned and restored to a reliable working state. Original OEM parts are always preserved unless a functional replacement is necessary.
